Stand Against Trans Genocide!
Just in the last two months, at least 12 transgender people have been murdered.

It’s Not a Coincidence
This is the product of the US government’s escalating campaign against trans people. Its May 6th counterterrorism document states: “[We] will also prioritize the rapid identification and neutralization of violent secular political groups whose ideology is anti-American, radically pro-transgender, and anarchist.”1
“Counterterrorism czar” Sebastian Gorka also said the government would ‘crush threats’, “whether it is the cartels, the jihadists or violent left-wing extremists like antifa—and like the transgender killers, the nonbinary, the left-wing radicals who killed my friend, Charlie Kirk […]”2 The government’s language deliberately equates trans people with terrorism, stoking transphobia and inciting anti-trans violence.
This rhetoric is not new
In 2023, conservative commentator Michael Knowles said: “There can be no middle way in dealing with transgenderism. It is all or nothing […] For the good of society […] transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely.”3
This is Genocide
In light of the rise of eliminationist rhetoric and anti-trans legislation, the Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention declared: “[…] the United States is squarely within the early to middle stages of a genocidal process against trans people, the goal of which is to completely erase transgender people not only from public life but also from existence in the U.S. and globally.”4
We Keep Us Safe
This must not remain merely a slogan, but directly reflect our actual practice. Paying lip service to trans issues is not enough.
We must:
- Criticize transphobic behavior, no matter its origin
- Blacklist transphobes from our community
- Protect trans people
